In the last chapters Jonas world was changed an it wont ever be the same for him. He is getting memories from the giver mostly about pain. Rarely he gets a good memory. Jonas starts to want to change things in the community. He shows this in many various ways like try sharing the memories that the giver gave to him with Asher and Lily but he never gets to show them the memory. Also Jonas starts seeing other colors more often he says he sees beyond. He also gets painful memoryes making his world seem diferent and he is trying to change the things on the comunity.
